Bags made in small cooperative in Bangalore, South India, which promotes the rights of rural artisans and encourages their traditional skills.
The Khadi Day Bags are versatile bags made from soft hand-spun "khadi" cotton, that is over-printed with hand-carved wooden blocks. They can be worn over the shoulder, or as a backpack / day-bag.
The lining in these is my favourite. Made from cotton fabric remnants patched together, it is always different!
